So this year for Thanksgiving we did our own little Thankgiving together. It was my first time ever not being with a little bit of extended family, even when I was little and my family stayed home we usually had grandparents there with us, so it was really weird to have it just be the four of us. I was actually even a little sad at first and I didn't think it would feel like Thanksgiving, but now I honestly think it was one of my favorites thus far in my life. That being said, it was my first time having to prepare the whole shabang and it really does take a lot of work to get it all put together and on the table at the same time. After two days of preparing everything did come together well and I was really happy with how everything turned out. Actually that is a really good thing because if it hadn't I think I would have sat there and cried. I decided that even though I didn't get to be with my family that day that I love being with my own little family especially when we don't have to be anywhere else and we can just sit and enjoy each other's company. Lincon and I have truely been blessed to have such great kids and to have each other.
